Top-Ranked Korean Dramas of January: Squid Game 2 Dominates the Spotlight

The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled the brand reputation rankings for dramas in January. These rankings were based on an analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 16 popular dramas, using big data collected from December 7 to January 7.

Topping the list is Squid Game 2, which achieved an extraordinary brand reputation index of 45,159,892, far surpassing its competitors. Additionally, its positivity-negativity analysis showed an impressive 92.50 percent positive reaction.

The Tale of Lady Ok secured second place with a brand reputation index of 11,841,977, followed by The Fiery Priest 2 in third with 11,602,765. 

Light Shop came in fourth with 11,464,318, while When the Phone Rings rounded out the top five with 6,466,976.
