Netflix Casts Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook, and Nana in Its Most-Anticipated Historical Drama!
Netflix has officially announced Scandals (working title), an upcoming historical drama that promises a thrilling mix of love, power, and deception.
Inspired by the 2003 Korean film Untold Scandal, the series is set in the Joseon Dynasty, a time when love was a dangerous indulgence and societal norms dictated every aspect of life.

At the center of this captivating story are three complex characters:
- Lady Cho (Son Ye-jin): A woman of intelligence and charm who refuses to be bound by societal norms. She devises a daring romantic scheme to test the limits of power and love.
- Cho Won (Ji Chang-wook): A charismatic nobleman known for his effortless charm and countless affairs. He views love as nothing more than a game, but when Lady Cho challenges him, he gets entangled in a wager that could change his life forever.
- Hui Yeon (Nana): A widow burdened by societal expectations. Despite her efforts to remain composed, she finds herself drawn to Cho Won, struggling between duty and forbidden desire.
With its powerful performances, intricate storytelling, and a world of romance and betrayal unfolding in the grandeur of the Joseon era, Scandals is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated historical dramas on Netflix.
