Guess What? BTS’s V Surprised Fans at a Cafe While Celebrating His Birthday in Uniform!

Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V from BTS, made a heartwarming surprise visit to the cafe ‘Compose Coffee’ near his military base, where fans had organized a birthday celebration in his honor. A video of him in uniform has since gone viral.

According to a fan page, V stopped by the cafe with his officer to personally deliver treats to his unit. In a thoughtful gesture, he purchased 50 sets of coffee and desserts (Krungji) for the unit members and expressed his gratitude to the cafe staff. A staff member shared on social media, “Although I couldn’t talk much as I was busy preparing drinks, I made sure he knew everything was organized by his supporters.” They also described V as “incredibly handsome” and noted how well his uniform suited him. The post added that V personally carried the treats and thanked his supporters before leaving.

In another post, the staff shared photos of V distributing the coffee and desserts, captioning it, “Kim Taehyung visiting Compose Coffee at the Woodudumir branch, where the Korean fanbase provided free coffee and desserts to soldiers to celebrate his birthday.”

V celebrated his 29th birthday on December 30, 2024, while fulfilling his military service, which he began in 2023. He currently serves with the Special Task Force (SDT) of the Army Capital Defense Command, specializing in counter-terrorism and special operations. He is expected to be discharged by July 2025.
