Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo Unite for New Drama “Slowly but Intensely”

Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo are set to captivate audiences with their intense chemistry in the upcoming drama Slowly but Intensely (literal title), penned by renowned writer Noh Hee Kyung. Noh Hee Kyung is renowned for her emotionally rich dramas, including It’s Okay, That’s Love, That Winter, The Wind Blows, Dear My Friends, Our Blues, Padam Padam, and The World That They Live In.
On January 13, a representative of the project revealed that filming officially began on January 12.
This highly anticipated drama is set in the 1960s and 1970s, offering a realistic portrayal of the broadcasting industry. It delves into the lives of stars on stage and the behind-the-scenes individuals who shape their success.
This marks Song Hye Kyo’s third collaboration with writer Noh Hee Kyung, following their work on the 2008 drama Worlds Within and the 2013 drama That Winter, The Wind Blows. Notably, Song Hye Kyo recently adopted a new short hairstyle for her role in this modern historical drama.
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo is reuniting with director Lee Yoon Jung for Slowly but Intensely, marking their second collaboration since the iconic MBC drama Coffee Prince. Fans are eager to see the dynamic chemistry between Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo as they bring this compelling story to life.
